Staff Accountant

This Staff Accountant position will be responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager with monitoring, recording and reporting. The position requires the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis of account balances utilizing accounting software system.

Job responsibilities and requirements for the position.

• Prepare journal entries

• Assist with financial reporting and month-end close

• Complete monthly reconciliations for all accounts

• Assist with fixed asset reports and post depreciation monthly

• Participate in the audit process

• Assist the Accounting Manager with GAAP and tax research, and the review of period end financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure compliance with GAAP and tax guidance

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required

• Minimum 3 years of experience with general ledger accounting required

• Advanced Excel
