Are you a detail-oriented legal professional with experience in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights?

LHH is partnering with a respected law firm in Seattle, WA to find a proactive and reliable Bankruptcy Legal Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role begins with a 90-day onsite period and transitions to a flexible hybrid schedule.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling bankruptcy and creditors’ rights cases

  • Draft, format, and file legal documents with precision and timeliness

  • Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely follow-ups

  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

  • Proofread and edit legal correspondence and filings

  • Organize and manage case files and legal records

  • Assist with billing processes and general administrative duties

What You Bring:

  • Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary in bankruptcy or creditors’ rights law

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management tools

  • A collaborative mindset and a professional demeanor

Job Details:

  • Contract to Hire

  • Hybrid, Mon - Fri

  • Pay: $38 - $46 hourly

  • Free Parking

  • Paid Time Off: 2 weeks' vacation + 8 sick days

  • Paid Parental Leave
