Are you a detail-oriented legal professional with experience in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights?
LHH is partnering with a respected law firm in Seattle, WA to find a proactive and reliable Bankruptcy Legal Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role begins with a 90-day onsite period and transitions to a flexible hybrid schedule.
What You’ll Do:
Provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling bankruptcy and creditors’ rights cases
Draft, format, and file legal documents with precision and timeliness
Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely follow-ups
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Proofread and edit legal correspondence and filings
Organize and manage case files and legal records
Assist with billing processes and general administrative duties
What You Bring:
Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary in bankruptcy or creditors’ rights law
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management tools
A collaborative mindset and a professional demeanor

Contract to Hire
Hybrid, Mon - Fri
Pay: $38 - $46 hourly

Paid Time Off: 2 weeks' vacation + 8 sick days
