Job Title: Benefits Coordinator
Location: Seattle, WA
Position Type: Full-time, Temp
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, providing timely and accurate information.
Coordinate annual open enrollment processes, including employee communication, benefits election, and system updates.
Maintain and update benefits records in HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Collaborate with insurance carriers and third-party administrators to resolve any issues related to benefits claims or coverage.
Assist with the preparation and distribution of benefits-related communication and materials to employees.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including COBRA, FMLA, and ACA.
Support the HR team with benefits-related projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and relevant regulations.
Proficient in HRIS and benefits management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
CEBS or other relevant certification.
Experience with [specific HRIS or benefits software].
Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
