Medical Scheduling Representative

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a motivated Medical Scheduler Representative in Seattle, Washington. You will be responsible for the intake, registration, and scheduling of established and new patients. If you are comfortable on the phone and are interested in the healthcare industry this may be a position for you.

Title: Medical Scheduler Representative

Location: Seattle, Washington

Contract

Pay Rate: $21.00 /hr

Onsite

Responsibilities

High volume of calls-primary contact for all incoming calls

Responds to patient inquiries by answering general questions and assessing their needs

Entering patient demographics and ensuring data integrity

Scheduling of all appointments along with making the appropriate scheduling changes and cancellations

Provide customer support and service

Direct calls to the appropriate department

Attends meetings as needed

Performs other duties as requested

Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Ability to promote teamwork and embrace change

Customer service experience

Call Center and high-volume call experience

Understanding of claims process

Excellent computer skills

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience working in an office setting

Medical background a plus

Ability to deal with customers effectively and courteously on a regular basis

Ability to prioritize work and work independently

Excellent Communication Skills

High School Diploma
