Cash Application Specialist in Seattle, Washington

LHH is seeking a Cash Application Specialist for an opportunity in the Seattle area. General duties include, but are not limited to: Processing cash deposits, credits and overpayments to the general ledger, apply payments through various methods, and assist with reconciliations to ensure complete and accurate record keeping. Experience utilizing ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports for all incoming payments and refunds

Process and post cash deposits, misapplied payments, chargebacks, credits and overpayments to the general ledger

Apply payments received by various methods (Lockbox, ACH, Wire)

Process adjustments and write-offs to invoices

Assist with daily reconciliations to ensure applications are complete and accurate

Partner with Collections in resolving disputed payment applications

Qualifications:

Prior Cash Applications experience is required

Experience utilizing large-size ERP systems, such as Oracle or SAP

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Ability to build rapport with clients and customers

Salary

$25 - $30 an hour
