Contract HR Generalist


LHH is currently looking for an experienced HR Generalist for a large Industrial Manufacturing and Services company in Seattle. This role will be a contract role and is 100% on-site. If you’re looking to expand your career in Human Resources, and you think you would be a great fit, apply today!


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with new hire onboarding
  • Answer general HR-related questions
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, establish interview and selection procedures, develop job announcements, and interview materials, and conduct interviews
  • Implement human resource policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local requirements and reporting
  • Enter data into the internal HRIS system
  • Create strategic business partnerships with front-line employees and supervisors to promote positive employee relations
  • Conduct background checks, and references, and schedules drug screens for new employees

  • Qualifications:

  • Required: 3 to 5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Preferred: Employee relations experience within a unionized manufacturing facility

  • Education:


    • Required: University degree in HR or Business-related degree


    • Preferred: CIPD Qualified

  • Proofreading skills
  • Able to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently
  • Leadership skills
  • Empathetic and able to work well with others
