LHH seeking an Entry Level Purchasing Agent in Seattle for a client in the Maritime Logistics industry. This is a part-time direct hire role that will pay up to $24 per hour. In this role you will be responsible for purchasing all manner of goods and services for a company of around 100 employees. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, have outstanding communication skills, and have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.

Compensation: $24 per hour

Shift: Part-Time, 26 hours per week

Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Contact vendors to order goods (paint, lumber, shipping pallets, marine engine parts, rope, and tools)
  • Generate purchase orders
  • Communicate with department heads for specific supplies needed
  • Occasional travel to pick up goods from vendors
  • Qualifications:

  • High School education or GED
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be comfortable interacting with people
