LHH is partnering with a construction company in the Seattle, WA area who is searching for a temporary Payroll Specialist for their team. You will be processing weekly payroll and be auditing timecards to ensure accurate pay codes. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of payroll processing experience and be comfortable in a high-volume environment. The team will provide training but a lot of the processes aren’t documented so you need to be comfortable asking questions when needed. You need to have professional communication skills as you will be responding to employee inquiries. This position offers a quick interview process.
Responsibilities:
  • Processing weekly payroll and payroll taxes for about two to three hundred employees
  • Auditing time cards and fixing errors when needed
  • Reconciling benefits and employee accounts
  • Coordinating with the HR team and responding to employee inquiries
  • Assisting with payroll-related journal entries
Qualifications:
  • At least three years of payroll processing experience
  • Previous experience with ADP platforms would be helpful
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to work discretely with confidential information
  • Able to function with extreme accuracy in a high-volume environment
Employment Details:
  • Temporary to hire position
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Fully onsite at the office in Seattle, WA


Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
