Senior Software Engineer in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Work with a great collaborative team of intelligent, driven individuals just like you. You will design and write scalable systems for analysis. Collect and analyze global datasets, covering historical and forecast data for markets. You will have the privilege of creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture by assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional requirements. Working with a team of experts you will lead in the chance to identify, design, and execute internal process enhancements; automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for optimal scalability. Incorporate secure coding practices into development lifecycle and work closely with our security and operations team to deliver high quality and secure code to production.

Requirements:

Experience with JavaScript, Airflow, Dataflow and building pipelines

Python

True Cloud experience and thorough understanding

Able to build and optimize ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets: Google DataFlow

Experience with relational SQL Databases. i.e. Postgres or mySQL

Ability to adapt and learn

Function analysis- funding root cause on internal/external data- find key answer to specific issues and find opportunities for solutions.

Experience with writing and supporting HTTP APIs

Thrive in a collaborative and innovative team structure, working in a dynamic environment

Unit/Integration test experience- and able to contribute to engineering documents

Must be located in Seattle
