Temp to Perm Position
Schedule: Hybrid 3 days in Office
Compensation: $62,000 – $64,000
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Specialist to join our team in Secaucus, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s revenue cycle, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of billing processes, and effectively overseeing accounts receivable activities. This position offers high visibility within the company and the opportunity to contribute to maintaining our financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute all aspects of the billing process, including preparing, reviewing, and distributing 400-600 invoices monthly.
Ensure the accuracy of billing data, including contract terms, pricing, and customer information.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and process invoice corrections.
Monitor customer portals and maintain accurate records of billing and payment activities.
Follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely collection of payments.
Provide regular reports on billing and accounts receivable performance.
Assist with account and customer setup during integration activities.
Deliver excellent customer service in response to billing inquiries.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in billing and accounts receivable.
Support month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Servicetrade, Salesforce, Sage Intacct) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
