LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist with 2 years of experience in a similar position. This is a Temp to Perm role, located in South Ozone Park, Queens, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze daily system activity to identify trends, troubleshoot user/vendor issues, and recommend improvements for future e-commerce and procurement system enhancements.
- Monitor vendor data within the vendor database and management systems to ensure accuracy in vendor records, addresses, and search functionality.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Administrator to interpret system-generated data, identify workflow inefficiencies, and support continuous improvement in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
- Oversee ERP training materials and user support resources; promptly escalate stakeholder concerns and contribute to improved communication strategies.
- Provide operational insights and recommendations to enhance procurement processes and system performance.
- Offer confidential and collaborative support to Procurement Office colleagues, including the Operations Administrator and Senior Director of Procurement.
- Perform daily procurement-related tasks and contribute to special projects with minimal supervision and a high degree of discretion.
- Manage vendor relationships across various commodities, including resolving vendor registration and maintenance issues.
- Review and process new vendor requests and updates, ensuring timely edits and periodic data clean-up.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports for leadership, including vendor performance, invoice exceptions, frequent purchases, and contract expirations.
- Serve as a liaison for project-related communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Align procurement policies with ERP capabilities by identifying inefficiencies and recommending system enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Proficient with Excel and ERP systems

Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour
