LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join client in St. Clairsville, OH. This position will start on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in QuickBooks and be eager to apply their skills in a dynamic work environment. Whether you bring a few years of hands-on experience or are a recent graduate with a degree in finance or accounting, we value a strong work ethic and a commitment to financial accuracy. This is an opportunity to play a crucial role in managing financial records and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Duties:
Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliation
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
What you will need:
At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
Experience with QuickBooks is essential.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus.
