Accountant – Accounts Payable

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant in the St. Louis Area for a leading law office. This position is 100% on-site and the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience. This is a contract role, but for the right candidate this could transition to a contract-to-hire position. During the term of the contract, the candidate can take advantage of benefits provided through LHH.

Responsibilities:

Invoice Entry – ability to do 3-way matching

Respond to emails in AP inbox in a professional and timely manner

Invoice Coding & Data Entry

Process invoices and maintain invoice filing system both digitally and hard copies

Reconcile company accounts and credit cards on a monthly basis

Maintain vendor records

Create and present reports on a weekly and monthly basis

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience working with general accounting principles and accounting software

Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with accountants, vendors, and coworkers

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Basic math skills required

Good planning and organization skills to balance and prioritize work
