Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant in St. Louis, MO, 63141. To qualify for this role, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role. This is a TEMPORARY TO HIRE opportunity, meaning there will be an opportunity to join this team permanently at a later time. Additionally, the candidate will be able to take advantage of LHH benefits for the term of their contract!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in month-end reporting
  • Perform accounting and clerical functions to support team needs
  • Maintain communication lines with vendors regarding invoicing and payments
  • Verify accuracy of invoices and accounting records
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Assisting with account reconciliation
  • Calculate, prepare, and post Journal entries in the GL
  • AP/AR
  • Performing other accounting duties as assigned
  • What you bring to the table:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and intermediate with Excel
  • Proficient with QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Strong communications skills
