Accounting Clerk


LHH is seeking an Accounting Clerk in St. Louis! The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, and be intermediate in excel. No degree is required, but additional courses or degrees are a plus! Candidates will need to be local, as this is an opportunity that is 100% in office.


Work Site: 100% In office


Compensation: $20.00 Hourly


Responsibilities:

  • Using bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets and software
  • Posting financial transactions using appropriate computer software
  • Receiving and recording vouchers, cash and checks
  • Entering debits and credits into software applications and databases accurately
  • Producing a variety of reports including income statements and balance sheets
  • Checking for accuracy in reports, figures and postings
  • Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records

  • Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Higher Education is a plus
  • Accounting experience
  • Working experience using MS Office
