Our client in Rockland County, NY is looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
They will manage the entire recruitment process, from understanding departmental hiring needs to onboarding top talent. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, developing recruitment strategies, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs.
Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies.
Train managers on interviewing techniques and legal considerations.
Administer HRIS and applicant tracking systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now).
Write and review job descriptions for accuracy.
Source candidates through various channels, including social media and college career centers.
Coordinate interviews and gather feedback from hiring managers.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
3-5 years of recruiting experience
Experience in clinical diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare strongly preferred
