RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for providing direction, coordination, and evaluation of the individuals that make up the team during the shift and carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
In charge of training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Responsible for the safety of all personnel of the designated shift on the manufacturing floor
Monitor manufacturing practices and ensure that the methods used are compliant with appropriate standards and company policy.
Support personnel (Machine Operators) by providing instruction and information regarding to their roles.
Responsible to ensure tool, equipment and established autonomous maintenance of work centers and execution of all 5S methodologies are being carried out by all machine operators.
Utilize testing equipment to check the quality of the manufactured cables (tension and elongation machine, high resistance meter and Hi-voltage tester).
Maintain the quality system in accordance to all ISO requirements.
Actively participate in all Lean, Continuous Improvement and other improvement methodologies in order to improve all aspects of the entire value stream.
REQUIREMENTS:
Meets productivity standards and strives to increase productivity results
Adapts to changes in the work environment, and supports change in a positive manner
Proficient with the use of measuring devices such as micrometer, caliper, dial indicator, and gage pins
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university-
Minimum 3-5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment
