Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Seasonal/Contract Tax Preparer to join our clients team in Boca Raton, FL. This position is 100% onsite and offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $16 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and small business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information for tax return preparation.
• Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client information.
• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate tax preparation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in tax preparation is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during the tax season.
