LHH is working with a prominent Florida-based law firm to identify a skilled Litigation Paralegal for a full-time, on-site position at their Tampa office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated legal professional to join a dynamic litigation team supporting high-level commercial litigation cases.

About the Role:
In this role, the paralegal will work closely with attorneys on a variety of commercial litigation matters. The position requires someone who can manage case files from start to finish, assist with discovery and trial prep, and stay ahead of deadlines. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment and familiar with both Florida state and federal court procedures.
Responsibilities:
Drafting and reviewing pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents
Coordinating and managing document production and discovery workflows
Organizing and maintaining case files, including electronic filing systems
Preparing trial materials such as exhibit lists, witness files, and trial binders
E-filing with state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with local rules
Managing attorney calendars and tracking key litigation deadlines
Assisting with time entry and billing, including pre-bill edits and time management
Communicating effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting
Solid understanding of litigation procedures and court filing requirements (Florida and federal)
Familiarity with commercial litigation matters preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with iManage and Aderant is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Strong writing and communication skills
Paralegal certificate from an accredited program strongly preferred
Additional Details:
Location: Tampa, FL (on-site role)
Type: Direct Hire
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Compensation: Competitive salary + full benefits package
