LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for a healthcare company in Tampa, FL. This position would be great for an experienced procurement specialist with at least 5 years working in engineering or manufacturing industries. In this position, you will be responsible for purchasing, supplier/vendor management, and additional responsibilities below.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth cost and spend analyses within the department and develop cost-saving initiatives

• Manage RFP process, including research of suppliers, negotiation, PO creation, and issue resolution

• Lead negotiations and bring best value by focusing on best practices on behalf of company

• Analyze legal and commercial risk

• Utilize smart budgeting strategies

• Stay knowledgeable on industry trends and market developments

Experience

• Bachelor's degree required

• At least 5 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain and Logistics, preferably in the healthcare industry

• Experience managing projects and working independently

Skills:

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to foster positive relationships with customers and teammates

• Highly proficient in MS Excel and an ERP system
