LHH is partner with a leading Healthcare Provider in the Phoenix, AZ area for a Credentialing Coordinator to join its fast and growing team. The role ensures all clinic staff are professionally trained, licensed, and certified and updated in the according databases for compliance mandated by state and federal regulations. In our growing organization, the Credentialing Coordinator will have a unique opportunity to grow their career quickly and be mentored by department leaders. This position is Contract to Hire, 40 hours per week, $19-26 per hour depending on experience, On-site role. This is tremendous opportunity to get started with a outstanding company!

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor enrollment and terminations of new and existing providers, ensuring all regulations and documentation requirements are met.
  • Complete provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications; monitor applications and follows-up, as needed.
  • Database maintenance, update accordingly with information regarding employee training, licenses, education, continuing education, and relevant job experience.
  • Verification of both individual and facility accreditation, maintain records of verification and work with auditors as needed.
  • Conduct full cycle credentialing process for new and existing providers, ensuring all are credentialed with the appropriate health plans for their practice location.
  • Create accounts for providers as needed and enroll providers into EMR & EHR system, updating changes as needed.
  • Provides regular credentialing status reports to corresponding departments in timely manner.
  • Function as the Subject Matter Expert for Credentialing Audits, staying abreast of all current health plans and company requirements for credentialing providers to ensure successful audits.
  • Assists with special projects and performs other duties assigned.
  • Professional Skills & Experience

  • High School Diploma Required, Associate Preferred
  • Credentialing Certification Preferred
  • 1-2 years of stable healthcare credentialing experience
  • Experienced in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive; EMR, EHR
  • Basic understanding of technology utilized in the Healthcare Credentialing field, including data collection, and credentialing sites i.e., CACTUS, CAQH, NPPE, etc.
  • Process driven, time management, and meticulous
