We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Manager to build and lead our Financial Planning & Analysis function from the ground up for a longstanding client. This is a newly created, high-impact role reporting directly to the CFO, offering a unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy and infrastructure of a growing, private equity-backed company.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and scale the company’s first-ever FP&A function, including tools, processes, and reporting frameworks
- Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning
- Create and present detailed financial reporting packages to the executive team and board of directors
- Own and manage revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606
- Partner cross-functionally with department leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, data transparency, and financial visibility
Requirements
- 7–8 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance
- Proven experience in private equity-backed environments
- Strong attention to detail, transparency, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to build financial processes and systems from scratch
- Management-level experience with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives
- Industry flexibility; inventory or product-based business experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP and BI tools preferred

- Reports to: CFO
- Compensation: $170k-180K base
