Payroll Specialist/Analyst – Ewing, NJ (Hybrid), 4 days on site, one day remote
Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000 + Bonus Potential
Our client, a rapidly growing organization in the Ewing, NJ area, is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their team. This company has experienced double-digit growth over the past year and offers exciting opportunities for professional development and stability.
Position Overview:
The Payroll Analyst will play a key role in processing payroll accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process biweekly and/or semimonthly payroll for multi-state employees with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Partner with HR and Finance to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure proper tax treatment of compensation, benefits, and other earnings
- Support audits and reporting requests as needed
- Assist in implementing new payroll processes as the company scales
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment
- Experience with major payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, Workday, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Understanding of wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
