Job Title: Litigation Paralegal – Labor & Employment | Troy, MI

Location: Troy, Michigan
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)

Are you a skilled Litigation Paralegal with experience in Labor & Employment law? LHH is helping a reputable law firm in Troy, Michigan search for a detail-oriented and experienced paralegal to support its litigation and employment law practice group. This is a full-time, hybrid position ideal for candidates looking to grow their legal career in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys with all aspects of litigation case management, including legal research, fact investigations, and case development

  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses

  • Manage document production and the discovery process, including eDiscovery and case file organization

  • Interact with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and court personnel

  • Maintain accurate litigation calendars and monitor key court deadlines

  • Assist with trial preparation, including deposition summaries, exhibit binders, and pre-trial filings

  • Communicate with administrative agencies such as the EEOC, MDCR, and NLRB regarding case matters and filings


Qualifications:

  • Paralegal Degree or Certificate is preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in litigation, ideally in labor and employment law

  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, civil procedure, and Michigan court systems

  • Proficiency with legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software

  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
