Payroll Accountant in Troy, Ohio

Looking to join a company where you can use your payroll experience but grow on the accountant side? LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our client with their Payroll Accountant opening in Tory, OH. This position will sit onsite so applicants must be in driving distance. This position offers the unique opportunity to start in payroll and take on some accounting duties with the plan to grow this role into an accountant in the future.

Responsibilities:

Process payroll for over 400 employees (hourly and salary)

Setup new employees and garnishments

Assist accounting team with account reconciliations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree required

At least 2 years payroll experience

Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and vlookups

General accounting experience preferred

Schedule:

This position sits onsite

Monday through Friday

8 AM to 5 PM (some flexibility is allowed)
