Accounts Payable Assistant

Accounting Principals and LHH Recruitment are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant with 1 or more years of experience for a full-time position in the logistics industry out of Tucson, AZ. This project-to-permanent role offers company-led training and the ability to make up to $50,000!

Our ideal candidate will be an ambitious, problem solver with experience coordinating with vendors on payment status. This position will require high-volume invoice processing in Excel & accounting software, weekly check runs, and posting payments.

Responsibilities:

Assist with overseeing the accounts payable inbox

Code and process 50 or more invoices into Excel and accounting software daily

Process weekly check runs and utilize 3-match to ensure billing accuracy

Post payments by ACH, wire transfer, and check payment

Work with vendors to update accounts and resolve invoice questions

Knowledge of Excel Pivot Tables & V LOOKUPS, general ledger accounts, and month-end close is a plus, but not mandatory

Benefits:
