Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a Staff Accountant for an excellent client in Northern Kentucky. This position will involve many aspects of accounting including, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting and Forecasting, G/L Accounting, and more. You would be an excellent choice for this role if you like variety, are deadline driven, able to pivot from one task to another, and have a desire to learn and grow with an organization.

This position will pay between $55K and $65K depending on experience and education. This position is currently 100% in office.

Duties:

Process incoming vendor invoices for payment

Communicate with vendors to resolve and issues or discrepancies

Monitor and follow up on Accounts Receivable payments to ensure everything is current

Assist with budgeting and forecasting duties

Help with fixed assets when needed

Provide month end support to the controller

Calculate and files sales tax returns

Additional duties as needed by management

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting of finance is highly preferred

Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting experience. Strong internship experience along with a degree would be considered as well

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment
