About the Role:

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a respected engineering firm in Warren, NJ to find a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a fully onsite, temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for candidates with full-cycle AP experience in engineering or construction environments, especially those familiar with Deltek systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and timely

• Review and verify invoice coding, approvals, and payment terms

• Set up new vendors and maintain existing vendor records in the accounting system

• Ensure compliance with W-9 and tax documentation requirements

• Manage employee expense reports and ensure adherence to company policies

• Reconcile and process corporate credit card transactions and statements

• Prepare and post journal entries related to AP and credit card activity

• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly

• Assist with month-end close and audit support as needed

• 3–5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
