HR Assistant DC Metro in Washington, District of Columbia

Attention Human Resource Assistant candidates - a new opportunity is now available! LHH is looking to fill a temporary position with the opportunity for permanent placement. The ideal candidate would have some HR Assistant experience including recruiting, pre-employment testing and paperwork, benefits enrollment, onboarding, and experience with Workday preferred. Professionalism is a must in this role as you will be handling sensitive employee records.

Location: Washington, DC

Pay: $20.00-$ 24.00/ per hour

Employment type: Contract

Responsibilities:

Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation

Generate reports

Update data in HRIS system

Coordinate events and training activities

Schedule candidate interviews

Assist with additional projects as needed

Qualifications:

Associates degree

Workday and ADP knowledge is a plus!

2+ years of HR experience

Proficient in MS Office Suite
