Are you an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist in Washington, DC? LHH Recruitment Solutions has contract Payroll & Benefits Specialist position for a well-known company Washington, DC. Please see the desired qualifications below and apply with us!


Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing payroll, including commissions, deductions, merit raises, salary changes, garnishments, and severance.
  • Works with AHIP's payroll vendor to process bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now, reviews payroll register for accuracy and reconciles final payroll before distribution.
  • Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
  • Prepares bi-weekly payroll reports and Journal Entries for accounting and auditing purposes.


  • Requirements

  • Must have ADP Workforce Now (for payroll processing)
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' processing Payroll and Benefits Administration

  • Skills

  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.


  • Education

  • High school diploma or GED.
