Quality Assurance Manager in Waukegan, Illinois

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

Researches, recommends, and implements new Quality Controls

Sets up and maintains on-site lab strategy. Manages inspections of incoming material

Manages tastes tests for incoming inspection, finished batches, and sample matching

Tests of products using approved methods

Verifies cleaning and sanitation program

Complies with regulatory issues and compliance

Acts as quality liaison with customers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Food & Beverage Industry

5+ years' relevant work experience
