Due to some internal promotions a well-established entrance manufacturer in Waukesha County is looking for a Design Engineer join their team. This company offers a casual/friendly work environment that allows their employees to grow and loves to promote from within.


Essential Functions

  • Use design concepts and fundamental technology for new product development or existing product improvement
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality Managers in an effort to suggest quality and process improvements and new product development
  • Develop the specification details to ensure consistency with pricing, product quality, operational functionality, and market needs
  • Create and update drawings and files as needed

  • Qualifications

  • MS Office proficiency
  • Advanced SolidWorks experience
  • Design knowledge of sensors, motors, and controllers
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience working on an engineering team in a manufacturing environment
