Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a reputable dealership in West Palm Beach. This role requires prior experience in automotive accounting and offers a pathway to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile schedules such as inventory, floor plans, and bank statements.
  • Post vehicle sales, wholesale deals, and dealer trades.
  • Handle title and registration paperwork in compliance with state regulations.
  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
  • Collaborate with sales, service, and parts departments to ensure accurate financial data.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of automotive accounting experience required.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and dealership operations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.



Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
