Benefits and Compensation Administrator
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a full-time Benefits and Compensation Administrator with 4 or more years of related work experience for a Direct Hire role, located in Windsor, Connecticut
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and educate employees on a variety of benefit programs, including FMLA, workers' compensation, unemployment insurance, group life, medical, dental, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with benefit providers to resolve issues and ensure optimal use of benefit plans.
  • Offer detailed information on plan provisions to help employees make well-informed decisions about their benefits.
  • Implement new benefit plans and updates to existing ones by preparing and distributing announcement materials, booklets, and other communication tools.
  • Update and reissue benefits communication materials periodically.
  • Address inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously to ensure swift and fair resolution.
  • Maintain contact with insurance companies, employees, and beneficiaries through various channels to ensure proper and complete utilization of benefits.
  • Communicate new plans and changes to employees using announcement materials, booklets, posters, electronic messaging, etc., within the specified enrollment period.
  • Manage the enrollment, termination, and record-keeping for various employee benefit programs with the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and customer service, in compliance with federal and state regulations and plan provisions.
  • Develop benefit information and statistical and census data for actuaries, insurance carriers, and management within set time frames.
  • Quickly and effectively resolve administrative issues with carrier representatives when billing discrepancies arise.
  • Support the processing of wage garnishments/attachments, child support orders, employment verification requests, and tax forms within the specified timeframe.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, or related work experience
  • Proficient with HRIS systems
Experience:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role handling Benefits/Compensation
Worksite: Direct Hire
Salary: $100,000-105,000/yr


Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
