LHH Recruitment is seeking a Tool and Die Manager for a leading manufacturing facility in Youngstown, Ohio. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a highly skilled professional with
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the daily activities of tool and die makers and machinists.
Oversee the design, fabrication, repair, and maintenance of dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures.
Ensure production tooling meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage workload distribution, training, and performance evaluations for the tool room team.
Maintain inventory of tooling components and ensure timely procurement of materials.
Qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on experience in tool and die making, with deep knowledge of machining, stamping, and die maintenance.
Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Proven ability to lead teams, solve complex tooling issues, and drive process improvements.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
