LHH is currently recruiting for a Director of Communications for a permanent opportunity with our client in the Fort Worth, TX area. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of communications experience and have a proven background developing corporate communications strategies. This is an onsite position at our client’s office in the Fort Worth area.


Responsibilities:


· Develop internal communications strategy including but not limited to leadership communications, employee engagement, and operational communications


· Maintain and improve company intranet operations and strategy


· Develop crisis communications strategies


· Collaborate cross functionally to drive employee engagement


· Stay updated on industry best practices to ensure the business maintains a competitive edge


· Mentor and lead a team of communications and creative employees


· Manage external communications including but not limited to public relations, media relations, press releases, and more


· Source and collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed


Qualifications:


· Minimum 10 years of communications experience


· Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field


· Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience


· Proven experience developing both internal and external communications strategies in a corporate setting
