LHH is partnering with a property management company in Bellevue, WA to search for a temporary to hire Bookkeeper for their team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of previous bookkeeping experience and will have knowledge of the industry. You will be handling full cycle accounting tasks for each of the properties you manage, so you should be versed on financial statement preparation or at least be willing to learn those responsibilities. The role is fully onsite in office in Bellevue, WA so the manager will train a candidate who is eager to learn and willing to build a long-term accounting career with them. Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Monitor rent payments from tenants, follow up on late payments, and initiate necessary actions for collections.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to property owners.
  • Generate ad hoc financial reports as requested.
  • Assist in the preparation of property budgets and forecasts.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of previous experience in bookkeeping, preferably in property management or real estate.
  • Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.


Employment Details:

  • Temporary to hire
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
