LHH seeks a Bilingual (Spanish) Medical Receptionist in Santa Barbara, CA

  • Individuals with previous experience in patient registration, insurance verification, and/or patient referrals.


  • Those who excel in building trust with patients, referral sources, and colleagues.



Responsibilities:


  • Answer telephone inquiries and manage patient appointment scheduling (initial and return).
  • Perform insurance verification, create new patient charts, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Provide administrative support for closing patient visits, including insurance authorization, financial counseling, payment processing, and daily document research on electronic health/medical record systems.
  • Review charge information to ensure accuracy according to payer requirements; make corrections as needed.
  • Address claim edits, rejections, denials, and perform voids and corrections as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the collection team to maintain the database, resolving accounts receivable.
  • Assist in resolving outstanding invoice problems for past-due accounts.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers or external collection resources.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of office administrative experience, Bilingual (spanish) required.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Onsite | Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
