Junior Accountant - Remote

$25.00 - $30.00 per Hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients in the non-profit industry looking to fill a Junior Accountant job for the corporate office located in Oakland, CA. This job is hybrid and will be required to work in office 1 day a week. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of accounting experience. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for the preparation of invoices monthly, quarterly or annually, government contract billing and collections, process entries to record revenue, reconcile balances, help with the audit, and assist on projects as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field would be preferred and professional accounting experience is required
  • Experience in Revenue, Billing, Accounts Receivable, or General Accounting
  • Team player, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Dedicated, reliable, and quick to learn
  • Attention to detail, problem-solver, and organized
  • Strong communications (written & verbal)
  • Software experience with a medium to large ERP system preferred
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Intermediate, Word & Outlook)

Experience: 2 years of accounting experience (Junior Accountant, Staff Accountant, Revenue Accountant, Accounts Receivable Specialist, Accounting Specialist, Finance Specialist) Accountant/Specialist/Clerk)


Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00 DOE
