Contract Legal Assistant
Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay Range: $25 to $30
Position Type: Full-Time, Contract (6-months), Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite)
LHH is seeking a Contract Legal Assistant to join the legal team in San Francisco, CA, on a temporary basis for a duration of 6 months. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with various legal tasks, including data migration, vetting, and corporate document "backfill". This position will report directly to a Senior Paralegal and an Attorney, providing essential support in a corporate law environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with data migration processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of legal information.
Conduct vetting processes on legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
Support in the organization and maintenance of corporate documents, including drafting and editing as necessary.
Collaborate with legal team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of tasks.
Perform legal research as directed by senior staff.
Provide administrative support to lawyers and paralegals as needed, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
Paralegal certification is a plus.
1-2 years of experience working as a legal assistant in a corporate law firm environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
