NEW YORK, NY – April 2, 2020 – LHH, the leading global provider of talent and leadership development, career transition and coaching solutions, today announced a special offering to help small businesses that are struggling as a result of COVID-19.

Through June 30, 2020, LHH is offering qualifying small businesses the opportunity to provide furloughed and laid off employees with 30 days of complimentary access to virtual, self-paced job search resources.

“With the growing number of restaurants, bars and small businesses of all types temporarily closing, reducing business hours or scaling back their operations, small business owners and leaders are being forced to make the very difficult decision to temporarily furlough or permanently lay off employees,” said LHH President Ranjit de Sousa.

“For many of these businesses, offering outplacement support is simply not an option during this financially challenging and uncertain time,” de Sousa continued. “Meanwhile, there are companies that are trying to fill open positions right now."

John Morgan, LHH COO and EVP Americas added, "At LHH, our brand promise is ‘Opportunity, delivered,’ and our commitment during this unprecedented time is to leverage our expertise and job search resources to make a difference for people when they need it most.”

Drawing upon their vast catalog of career transition content, LHH has curated a mobile-optimized career hub featuring videos, articles and other resources that will enable job seekers from small businesses to kickstart and accelerate their search with an improved resume and LinkedIn profile, organize their job search strategy, and refine their skills to confidently apply and interview for jobs.
Individuals will also have the opportunity to upload their profile to LHH’s Digital Talent Exchange, where hiring managers actively look for people with the skillsets and experience they need in their organizations today. A key component of Active Placement—LHH’s reimagined approach to outplacement—the Digital Talent Exchange makes it possible for job seekers to connect to job opportunities that don’t appear on public job boards.
