Jim Mitchell

President, Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge

Jim Mitchell is the President of Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge, where he is responsible for all Canada operations across all lines of business: Career Solutions, Talent & Leadership Development and Executive Search & Recruitment.  Jim is a member of the Executive Committee for both Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge and Lee Hecht Harrison globally.  Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Lee Hecht Harrison's U.S. Midwest region, responsible for providing highly effective talent management solutions in one of North America's most globally dynamic labour markets.

Over the course of his career Jim has managed successful and diverse teams in North America, Latin America and Europe, resulting in the development and implementation of innovative global business solutions in the automotive, steel, utilities and consumer products sectors.  In addition to line management responsibilities, Jim's business expertise includes: market strategy, process transformation, operational planning, cost & economic analysis and mergers & acquisitions. 

As a member of the European Institute in London, Jim researched the impact of globalization on labour markets, systems of capitalism and EU law.  His book "Recapitalization of Banks in Transition Economies: Poland and Hungary in the New Market Economy" provides a unique insight into the interrelationship between managerial practices and economic theory.  He has consulted with international leaders in business, government and academia on the unique challenges facing transition economies and industrial sectors.

Jim holds Masters degrees from the London School of Economics and Northwestern University, and a Bachelor's degree from John Carroll University.

Maureen Quinn

Practice Leader, Canada

Maureen Quinn is the Practice Leader for the International Center for Executive Options (ICEO) in Canada, where she leads the country providing bespoke leadership transition support to senior executives and organizations. Previously, she was a Senior Advisor in the New York City ICEO Practice, where she partnered with senior executives leveraging her business and leadership acumen, serving as a thought partner, sounding board and trusted advisor. Her background with global human capital and professional services firms, including start-ups, mature businesses and turnarounds, makes her a valued asset within the global practice.
 
Prior to ICEO, Maureen was the Head of Administration and Operations for the US partnership of Egon Zehnder International, a leading global executive recruiting firm where she implemented a series of initiatives that enhanced client satisfaction, improved productivity and increased profitability.
 
Earlier she held senior positions at Drake Beam Morin, Inc. (purchased by Lee Hecht Harrison) and at Executive Interim Management (EIM) where she was a Senior Partner. Maureen’s business career began at Manpower Inc. (now ManpowerGroup) as General Manager of Canadian Operations and held several progressive positions up to SVP, Eastern US Operations, responsible for 478 branches and full P&L accountability for $1.4 billion in revenue. She interfaced regularly with the Board and was a member of the global leadership team.
 
Maureen earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Windsor (Canada) and completed the Executive Leadership Program at INSEAD. She is a member of the CEO Trust and volunteers with Larchmont Friends of the Family.
