Let's talk

TORONTO, August 6, 2021LHH Canada is pleased to announce it has officially partnered with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) as an employer partner. With a commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion within the workplace, CCDI’s programs and initiatives progress the delivery of DE&I, helping reshape diversity on a national scale and better advocate for a wide variety of demographic groups.

The partnership provides LHH access to CCDI’s platform and knowledge repository that supports diverse demographic groups including women, Black, Indigenous, people of colour (BIPOC) communities, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities, among others. Earlier this year, LHH created a Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Committee and conducted multiple inclusive leadership and unconscious bias training sessions for all leaders and employees. The company also actively supports its clients through a variety of diversity and inclusion solutions to support equality at the workplace.

“This partnership is an important milestone in our journey to build equitable practices and create longstanding changes that promote inclusion for all, within LHH and on behalf of our clients across Canada,” said Jim Mitchell, president of LHH Canada. “DE&I is an imperative for all Canadian organizations. The invaluable tools provided by CCDI streamline planning, developing and implementing DE&I as a corporate asset, fueling a landscape that makes employees feel heard, validated and recognized in the workplace.”

Recognizing the value of diversity and inclusion is fundamental to LHH’s D&I strategy. LHH’s recent DE&I commitments include signing the BlackNorth Initiative which fosters inclusiveness of the BIPOC communities. This partnership with CCDI will help increase equity at all levels of the workplace from employees to executives and board members.
