As a VDI Expert, you will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and continuous
improvement of a large-scale virtual desktop environment. You will take ownership of the VDI
platform and contribute to both operational excellence and project delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the virtual desktop infrastructure
- (VMware/Omnissa Horizon).
- Acting as the subject matter expert and technical point of reference for the VDI service.
- Leading service improvement initiatives and ensuring system reliability and
- performance.
- Participating in project-related tasks and technical planning.
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation and ensuring smooth upgrade cycles.
- Managing system configurations and enhancements from an administrator's
- perspective.
- Conducting regular system health checks and implementing automation for monitoring.
- Planning for system capacity and optimizing overall performance.
- Leveraging in-depth experience in VDI architecture and support activities.
Your profile:
- Degree in IT or equivalent experience (5+ years) in complex IT environments, with a
- strong focus on virtual desktop solutions (preferably VMware/Omnissa Horizon).
- Advanced expertise in VDI administration, including vCenter, storage, virtual machines,
- and Windows server/workstation environments.
- Experience managing mission-critical, large-scale systems operating 24/7.
- Proficient in operating system image management, patching, and VDI user support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex, multi-layered infrastructures.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (load balancing, firewalls, etc.).
- Experience with Active Directory implementation and management.
- Familiar with ITIL framework and the service lifecycle.
- Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, SCOM) and agile project management
- practices (Agile, SAFe) is a plus.
- VMware certifications and knowledge of alternative VDI platforms are considered assets.
- Fluency in English (C1 level required); knowledge of French is a plus
