Our client is a mid-size company specialising in the production of high-quality electronic components and systems for various industrial applications. Known for its innovation and commitment to quality, the company offers a dynamic work environment where initiative and continuous improvement are valued.
To strengthen their production team, we are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader Production (m/w/d) to play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting the company’s ambitious growth.
As Team Leader Production (m/w/d) you will lead and manage a small team of skilled production operators and technicians. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, high-quality, and on-time production of electronic components and systems, while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a production team (approx. 15 employees) to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Monitor and improve production processes, focusing on efficiency, quality, cost reduction, and waste minimisation.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company standards.
- Analyse production data and KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Provide hands-on support on the production floor when needed.
Your profile:
- Over 5 years of proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or electronics production environment.
- Solid understanding of modern production techniques (lean manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, etc.).
- Good technical understanding of electronics manufacturing processes is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in German (must) and good English.
- Education background in Electronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
