A dynamic and growing asset management firm specializing in emerging markets across Asia and Europe is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join the Finance team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with Swiss and international financial standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to cross-border accounting practices in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for multiple group entities
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related reports
- Manage cash operations and oversee liquidity across group companies
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports for the management team and Boards
- Handle daily accounting tasks for several group companies
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Swiss certification, (e.g. Fachausweis / CPA) or equivalent qualification is a plus
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in asset management, financial services, or an international firm
- Solidknowledge of GL Accounting
- Experience with consolidation and multi-currency environments
- Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Abacus, SAP, Oracle)
- Fluent communication skills in English and German
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across time zones and cultures
