Position Overview:


We are currently seeking a highly skilled Communications & Social Media Manager to join our client's team on a project basis from April to September 2024, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be based in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, with native proficiency in German and fluent English. With a minimum of 8 years of experience, the candidate must come from the healthcare / beauty sector and possess a strong background in social media management and communications. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, a passion for beauty and design, as well as the ability to work independently.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across various platforms.
  • Manage all social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Organize and oversee the planning and execution of events, including seminars, workshops, and product launches, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.
  • Create compelling and visually appealing content for event promotion, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of messaging and branding for events and related communications.
  • Monitor social media trends, analyze event performance metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize results.
  • Oversee the development of marketing collateral for events, including invitations, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Act as a liaison with vendors, venues, and other event partners to negotiate contracts and manage logistical arrangements.
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reporting on ROI and effectiveness.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at events, conferences, and media engagements.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and media outlets to amplify event reach and awareness.

Candidate Profile:

  • Native proficiency in German and fluent English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, event planning principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proven track record of driving engagement, growth, and conversion through social media initiatives and event activations.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
