Job description
This is a new created individual contributor role, reporting into the Sales Director Nordics. The position is home-based and covers the complete Norwegian territory.
The main responsibilities of the role can be summarized as follows:
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in Norway.
- Look for new opportunities and areas of growth
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with customers, addressing their concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Budget Management: Oversee the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives.
- Sales Data Analysis: Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as R&D, Product Marketing and Operations, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future plans.
Candidate profile
We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience in the food packaging market, serving clients and developing business with food brand owners in Norway.
Experience working with retailers and contract manufacturing players of food private labels would be relevant as well.
The hired person will bring a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
In terms of educational background, we expect a degree or equivalent professional qualification in business administration, sales, marketing or similar field.
Soft skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Languages:
- Native Norwegian
- Fluent English
Travel:
- The role requires frequent and regular travel across Norway
