Role: Finance Manager (Fintech Company) based in Madrid.

About the Role:


We are seeking a versatile, hands-on finance professional to take on the role of Finance Director for entities in Spain, Switzerland, and Dubai, while also serving as Office Manager and HR Administrative Contact for the Spanish office. Reporting to the Group CFO, this multifaceted role combines financial leadership, operational coordination, and HR administration. The selected candidate will play a key role in continuing the finance transformation already initiated across the group and in leading budget and forecasting processes.


Responsibilities (Finance):


-Responsible for preparing, monitoring, and updating budgets and financial forecasts for Spain, Switzerland and Dubai.


- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for all three entities.


-Oversee and coordinate accounting operations and closing processes.


-Contribute to the ongoing finance transformation, including process improvements and systems optimization.


-Manage relationships with fiduciaries, auditors, and external service providers.


-Ensure compliance with local tax, accounting, and regulatory frameworks.


-Support strategic decision-making with robust financial data and insights.



Responsibilities (HR and Administration):



-Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure a smooth-running office environment.


-Manage office suppliers, facilities, and service contracts.


-Serve as the local HR administrative point of contact, including managing employment documentation, coordinating payroll with external providers, supporting onboarding/offboarding processes.


-Ensure compliance with Spanish labour laws in coordination with an external legal advisor.


-Support internal communication and collaboration between the Spanish office and the wider group.



Desired Profile:



-Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably across multiple entities or countries.


-Accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is a strong asset.


-Proven experience in managing budgeting and forecasting processes.


-Proficient in financial systems and Excel, with a solid understanding of ERP tools.


-Experience working with fiduciaries or outsourced service providers.


-Fluent in Spanish, and English or French (both is a plus).


-Reliable, structured, proactive, and capable of handling both strategic and operational tasks.
