Production Operations Manager

Job summary
The Production Operations Manager defines and manages production processes for all running shows, reporting directly to the Production Director/a. The role ensures budget control, consistency across productions, and coordination between teams.
Key Responsibilities
o Supervise Company Managers, Resident Teams, and liaise with Technical Managers o Ensure that Company Managers manage daily operations effectively and escalate issues when necessary.
o Align Resident Teams with the original artistic and technical vision of each show, ensuring continuity and consistency.
o Coordinate with Technical Managers to ensure that venue infrastructure and show execution meet production standards.
o Define and implement standardized production procedures across all venues.
o Monitor/a production budgets, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions in coordination with the Finance team.
o Plan resource allocation across shows, including staffing, scheduling, and logistics, without intervening in day-to-day operations.
o Lead the implementation and adoption of software tools for team management, scheduling, and production tracking.
o Act as an operational liaison between the Production Director/a, Executive Producer, and production teams to ensure strategic alignment.
Requirements
o 810 years of experience in production management, preferably in live entertainment.
o Proven experience leading multidisciplinary and multilingual teams.
o Strong budgeting and cost-control skills, with hands-on experience in financial tracking.
o Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with planning tools (e.g., MS Planner).
o Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., French, German) are a plus.
o Strong organizational and analytical skills.
o Able to maintain strategic focus under pressure and avoid micromanagement.
o Bachelors or Masters degree in Production, Project Management, or related
fields.
